The play tent studio

Our Studio space in Headingley opened mid September 2025 with a very clear aim; to provide a calm, intentional space for creative play and art making. With two very different spaces, connected by a child size mouse hole, we offer a place to explore many modes. of self expression and creativity. Our bright, airy art space at the front of the studio is filled with natural light from large windows. Within this space we offer drawing, painting, sculpting with a brilliant array of media; clay, paint, charcoal, wood, wire, ink, loose parts, buttons, beads, pompoms! 

Our other space is cosy and low lit and offers light play, small world exploration, construction, gentle musical instruments and a low stage area. 

Our corridor provides a space to explore motion. Magnets, wheels and balls with pipes, tubes and bigger scale loose parts

We offer tea and delicious fresh Malawian coffee on the house and always provide decaf and herbal options.

We are located within Headingley Central in the heart of Headingley. You can park for free within the centre car park (for up to 3 hours). Access to our studio is from the first floor of the car park so you can park right outside our gate.
